Got this bow last summer, and just don't have the time to use it. Unless you’re drawing 55lbs, that arrow speed should be enough to take down anything in North America that you want it to. I’d consider building an arrow in the 400-450gr range and run with whatever speed you get. It may work good on the range under low stress scenarios, but a “perfect shot” when there’s an elk standing broadside at 60 yards is a tall order for anyone, even the pros. It will work fine when everything goes right, but tuning flaws or inconsistency in the shot will be exposed at a larger threshold. IMO, a sub 400gr arrow is pretty light for hunting. There’s little to no room for error in both the bow and the arrow you’re planning on shooting. 
You’ll definitely find a serious increase in speed, but can I ask why? Tuning a bow that’s shooting at 300fps has a much smaller margin for error, as well as building and tuning an arrow to shoot out of it.
